Early Literacy Made Playful

Our placemats are double-sided, so mealtime comes with twice the fun! Flip them over to reveal a traceable alphabet with both upper and lowercase letters. Kids can use any dry erase or washable marker to trace the letters, then wipe it clean with a damp cloth to practice again and again.

Cleaning & Care

Our personalized placemats are made from crystal-clear, heavyweight laminate designed to handle even the messiest mealtimes—yes, toddlers too! Each one measures a generous 12" x 18" with smooth, rounded corners for safety and durability. To clean, just wipe with a damp cloth and you’re good to go (if only kids were this easy to clean!).

Important: Hand clean only. Please don’t put in the dishwasher, as high heat and detergent can damage the laminate.

Are these placemats just for kids?

Definitely not! While our designs are aimed at kids 3-7, the whole family can enjoy these placemats! Toddlers love them for the bright colors and learning features, older kids enjoy having their own personalized spot at the table, and parents love anything that gets the whole family to enjoy being at the table. They make great gifts for birthdays, holidays, or back-to-school season.
How long will it take to receive my order?

Because every placemat is made to order in our New Hampshire studio, please allow 2-3 business days for production, plus shipping time.
What are Art Appeel placemats made of?

Each placemat is crafted with heavyweight crystal-clear phosphate-free laminate for durability and easy cleaning. They’re sturdy enough for everyday use and designed to handle even the messiest eaters.
